Welcome to October edition and at last the sun is shining ! took its time but here we are and so much going on in our townships.
A huge 14th tournament for the Bob Scott Memorial Trophy for the 15 teams who played in the Whanga Toekickers festival last weekend.
Sadly Phil Gifford has passed, raised in Waihi, the sports writer and broadcaster, known as Loosehead Len became one of our country's best rugby writers.
We also cover a lot of activity with dune planting in Whangamata and Pauanui.
